What Is the Virginia Intelligent Speed Assistance Program (ISAP)?

Virginia ISAP is administered by VASAP. An Intelligent Speed Assistance system limits the speed at which a motor vehicle is capable of traveling based on the applicable speed limit where the vehicle is being operated.

ISA is not the same as RADEP or Driver Improvement. ISA is vehicle technology used for compliance. RADEP and Driver Improvement are educational programs.
