Before You Pay
The four-hour online course is intentionally designed for students who have already satisfied the first eight hours. Both conditions below matter.
You should already have successfully completed an acceptable Virginia 8-Hour Driver Improvement Course.
That course does not have to have been completed through Driver Training Solutions. A qualifying certificate from another Virginia school may be used when the authority responsible for your requirement accepts it.
Some courts, attorneys, probation officers, or other referring authorities permit the supplemental RADEP component to be completed online. Others may specify classroom attendance.

RADEP Structure
The traditional RADEP structure combines an 8-hour Driver Improvement component with an additional four hours focused specifically on reckless and aggressive driving behavior.
You do not have to repeat an acceptable 8-Hour Driver Improvement Course with Driver Training Solutions merely because your first course was completed through another Virginia school.
If the previous certificate is acceptable for your requirement, you may complete only the remaining four-hour RADEP component. Your referring authority must still accept both the prior certificate and the online format you plan to use.

This four-hour course is supplemental Reckless and Aggressive Driver Education. It is not an eight-hour Virginia DMV Driver Improvement Clinic and does not independently award Virginia DMV +5 safe-driving points.
Virginia DMV identifies Driver Improvement Clinics as eight-hour programs. A qualifying 8-hour Driver Improvement completion may have separate point eligibility depending on the reason for attendance, court documentation when applicable, and current DMV requirements.
